About Ô Fil du Loir
Ô Fil du Loir — edition 2026
For its 4th edition, the Ô Fil du Loir festival will take place on June 5, 6 and 7, 2026 in the gardens of the Manoir de la Possonnière in Couture-sur-Loir, the birthplace of Pierre de Ronsard. Three days of comedy, theatre, music and 'cartes blanches' in an intimate Renaissance setting, opening with the musical comedy Virginie et Paul (triple award winner at the Trophées de la Comédie musicale 2025), followed by the neo-bal musette Gang of Musette.
2026 Edition — June 5 to 7 at Manoir de la Possonnière
For this fourth edition, the Ô Fil du Loir team has put together a 100% comedy selection, be it romantic, musical, historical, retro or contemporary, in the spirit of the festival: «to counter the crisis, let's laugh!». Three days of shows under a big top, punctuated by Cartes blanches between performances, in the gardens of Pierre de Ronsard's native Renaissance manor.
A «total happiness» opening
On Friday, June 5, the festival kicks off with the musical comedy Virginie et Paul by Jacques Mougenot (libretto) and Hervé Devolder (score and direction), triple award winner at the Trophées de la Comédie musicale 2025 (best show, libretto and score). After the play, make way for Gang of Musette — Le Baluche de la Saugrenue, which sets the open-air dance floor ablaze around its travelling caravan, with javas, waltzes, tangos, swing, biguine and Creole mazurka.
A dark comedy for Saturday night
On Saturday, June 6, it's time for Les Oubliées de Londres by Alexandra Bialy, an enigmatic comedy inspired by real events in Victorian London, tracing Jack the Ripper, followed in the second part of the evening by the black humour show Denise Jardinière vous invite chez elle by Thibaut Boidin (Winner of the best show award at the Avignon off festival 2019 and 2024).
Sunday: a focus on women and humour
On Sunday, June 7, in the morning, the festival offers a cabaret format with the dazzling musical solo Enfin Vieille by Laura Elko (opera singing, piano, ventriloquism, comedy), then in the afternoon the comedy Et elles vécurent heureuses, a female trio directed by Arnaud Maillard with Pascaline Plonéis, Elsa de Bellovsky and Vanessa Fery.
A friendly, human-scale festival
As with every edition, the bar and catering (cheese and charcuterie boards, crêpes, Breton galettes) are open non-stop. New for 2026: first come, first served — a giant board at the ticket office allows you to choose your seat as you arrive, no more jostling at the entrance to the hall.

Ô Fil du Loir: Theater in the Garden at Ronsard's House
Ô Fil du Loir is a theater and music festival held in a place steeped in history and poetry: the Manoir de la Possonnière, in Couture-sur-Loir (Vallée-de-Ronsard), in Loir-et-Cher. This 15th-century Renaissance manor house, a listed historic monument, is the birthplace of Pierre de Ronsard, prince of poets.
An Intimate and Convivial Festival
Created in 2023, Ô Fil du Loir cultivates the art of closeness and conviviality. The festival takes place over a weekend in June, from Friday to Sunday, with performances under a tent in the manor's gardens. The atmosphere is that of a human-sized festival, where artists and spectators share special moments in an intimate and green setting.
A Quality Theatrical and Musical Program
The program happily blends theater and music. The plays are often discoveries made at the Festival d'Avignon, selected for their artistic quality and their ability to touch a wide audience. Music plays an essential role, with concerts of virtuosic baroque music and original musical shows. Between performances, Bobines - refined interludes created and performed by artists and surprise guests - punctuate the program.
An Exceptional Heritage Setting
The Manoir de la Possonnière offers an incomparable setting for this festival. Its terraced gardens, its Renaissance buildings adorned with engraved mottos, and its shaded areas provide a natural backdrop that enhances the shows. The festival contributes to the promotion of this remarkable heritage of the Vallée du Loir, helping to introduce this place beyond traditional tourist routes.
A Passionate Team
Ô Fil du Loir is driven by a team of about fifteen friends, artists, actors, writers, and enthusiasts living in Loir-et-Cher and Sarthe. This associative and friendly dimension gives the festival its authentic character and its human warmth, far from standardized festival formats.
