Oasis Bizz'Art: An Artistic Alchemy in Drôme Provençale
Since 1991, the Oasis Bizz'Art festival has transformed the Parc de la Baume in Dieulefit into a unique cultural oasis. Supported by the association La Bizz'Art Nomade, this multidisciplinary event was born from the desire to create a space for encounter between cultures, arts, and audiences, in the heart of Drôme provençale.
A Traveling and Multidisciplinary Cabaret-Festival
Oasis Bizz'Art stands out with its original cabaret-festival format, driven by a traveling artistic caravan. Before the three days of the festival at Parc de la Baume, the event offers "On the Oasis Trails", two weeks of traveling performances in several towns in Drôme provençale, bringing art closer to the residents.
A Rich and Eclectic Program
The program mixes world music concerts, circus shows, musical improvisations, performances, visual art installations, parades, exhibitions, and screenings. Each edition hosts local, national, and international artists in a carefully designed scenography that takes advantage of the exceptional natural setting of Parc de la Baume. The 2025 edition notably featured La Yegros, Lo Jo, Bab L Bluz, and Dowdelin.
A Commitment to Transmission and Participation
Beyond the performances, Oasis Bizz'Art places great importance on artistic transmission. Workshops and masterclasses with the artists are offered throughout the festival, allowing attendees to discover various artistic practices. This participatory dimension makes the event a true place for sharing and discovery, accessible to all audiences and generations.
An Exceptional Natural Setting
The Parc de la Baume, a vast wooded area on the outskirts of Dieulefit, offers an ideal setting for this open-air festival. The scenography utilizes the vegetation, clearings, and shaded paths to create an atmosphere that is both intimate and magical. Dieulefit, a potters' village nestled between Drôme and Provence, adds to the event the charm of its artisanal heritage and Mediterranean landscapes.
