Plateaux Partagés: The Stage Open to Amateurs in Vendôme

Organized every spring by L'Hectare, a national conventioned stage for art and creation in Vendôme, Plateaux Partagés is a unique event that celebrates the meeting between amateur practice and professional standards. At the heart of the Le Minotaure theater, this annual event marks the culmination of several months of workshops and residencies conducted with numerous partners from the region.

A Participatory and Ambitious Artistic Project

Throughout the year, amateur groups—school groups, associations, agricultural education institutions, social centers—are supported by professional artists in various disciplines: dance, theater, music, and puppetry. This long-term work results in collective creations presented during Plateaux Partagés, where each group has the stage of Le Minotaure to showcase the fruits of their labor.

A Moment of Meeting and Exchange

These days are designed as a space for meeting and exchange. Participants discover each other, attend the creations of other groups, and share their experiences. The theater technicians assist each group to highlight their work under the best possible technical conditions, offering a professional stage experience to amateurs.

A Renewed Thematic Focus Each Year

Each edition focuses on a particular theme or audience. In 2025, the "collégiens" (middle schoolers) stage highlighted agricultural education by presenting projects exclusively in puppetry, with institutions from across the Centre-Val de Loire region. In 2026, Plateaux Partagés continues this dynamic by inviting new groups and new disciplines to take the stage.

A Free Event Open to All

Access to public performances is completely free, in line with the cultural democratization mission of L'Hectare. The public is invited to come and discover these creations in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the energy of amateurs combines with the demanding support of professionals.
