Ceramics, glassblowing, blacksmithing, and cutlery market in the heart of Crocq
At the foot of the towers of the medieval town of Crocq, the Potters and Fire Arts Market brings together artisans whose common point is the work of fire. Potters, glassblowers, cutlers, blacksmiths, and bronze workers present their creations in a warm and authentic atmosphere. This artisanal event, born in 2024, aims to become a must-see event in the region.
Beyond the artisanal market, the weekend offers a rich program: convivial meals prepared by local associations, a traditional dance on Saturday evening, and carriage rides through the streets of Crocq. Visitors can interact directly with the artisans, observe their working techniques, and acquire unique pieces. Blacksmithing and glassblowing demonstrations punctuate the days.
Crocq, an old fortified town perched at 800 meters altitude on the Millevaches Plateau, is a place steeped in history. The Potters and Fire Arts Market is part of a desire to promote art crafts and ancestral know-how that enrich the heritage of Creuse. The event contributes to the cultural dynamism of this small commune, which multiplies festive and artisanal initiatives.
The 3rd edition of the Potters and Fire Arts Market will be held on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Crocq. Potters, glassblowers, cutlers, and blacksmiths will present their creations in the town center. On the program: demonstrations, convivial meals, a traditional dance, and carriage rides.
