Celebrating Spring Through Culture
Prélude Printanier has announced the arrival of spring in Jonzac for many years with an eclectic and joyful cultural program. This three-show festival in March transforms the Théâtre du Château and the auditorium of the Centre des Congrès into spring stages celebrating music, theater, and fantasy.
2026 Program: From Cole Porter to Ubu
The 2026 edition offers three evenings starting at 8:30 PM. On March 6th, a Broadway-style musical plunges the audience into the mythical world of Cole Porter. On March 13th, Pascal Amoyel, an internationally renowned pianist, presents an expert and sensitive interpretation of Chopin's Ballade n°1 in a masterclass imagined by the composer. On March 20th, "Ubu Président" offers a contemporary political satire in musical form, revisiting Alfred Jarry's work. Three genres, one artistic standard.
