Quinzaine Littéraire: Art and Literature at the Heart of Tarbes

Since 1985, the Quinzaine Littéraire et Artistique de l'Atelier Imaginaire has been a major cultural event of the autumn season in Tarbes. For two weeks in October, the association Atelier Imaginaire offers a dense program of over 80 events combining literature, theater, music, visual arts, and intellectual encounters.

The Decade and the Magical Days

The festival is structured around two highlights:

• Les Journées Magiques at the Hôtel Brauhauban: every evening at 5:30 PM, readings, recitals, concerts, and intimate performances
• La Soirée Magique at the Théâtre des Nouveautés: a grand theatrical and musical evening
• La Décade: presentation of a collective work bringing together about sixty writers and artists

A Crossroads of Writers and Artists

Each edition brings together about sixty writers and artists around a collective book presented during a major day of encounters. The festival fosters dialogue between literature, music, theater, and visual arts in a spirit of openness and creativity.
