Street arts festival in the Hautes-Pyrénées
The Rue Barrée Festival is an event dedicated to street arts, led by the cultural association Rue Barrée. For one day, performances take over the streets and squares for the public's enjoyment, in a spirit of gratuity and sharing.
The festival offers a rich and varied program: eccentric clowns, street theater, circus, concerts, musical shows, storytelling, and contemporary dance. Artists perform in the streets and squares, creating moments of surprise and conviviality with the audience.
True to the spirit of street arts, the Rue Barrée Festival is free and open to all. Participation is voluntary, "in the hat". This commitment to gratuity allows all audiences to discover street arts in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
After twelve years of collaboration with the town of Lourdes, the festival took a new turn in 2025 by settling in Ibos, in the center of the village, to continue its mission of promoting street arts in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
The Rue Barrée Festival returns in October 2026. Program and location to be confirmed.
Center of the village of Ibos (65420), Hautes-Pyrénées (since 2025).
Free admission. Voluntary participation "in the hat".
Ibos is located 5 km north of Tarbes, easily accessible by car via the D935.
