The rally in the heart of the vineyards

The Rallye Épernay Vins de Champagne is an automotive event that combines passion for motorsport and Champagne wine tradition. Since 1995, this rally organized by the ASAC de Champagne (Association Sportive Automobile Champagne) offers a unique setting for drivers and spectators: the winding roads of the Champagne hillsides, emblematic wine villages, and landscapes listed as UNESCO World Heritage.

A demanding course in the vineyards

The rally takes place around Damery, a wine-growing commune located between Épernay and Château-Thierry. The course, approximately 71 km long, includes three special stages totaling nearly 40 km of timed sections. The crews cross the villages of Cormoyeux, Fleury-la-Rivière, Venteuil, and the vineyard roads, facing tight turns, elevation changes, and varied surfaces in a spectacular setting.

Coupe de France des Rallyes

The Rallye Épernay Vins de Champagne is registered in the Coupe de France des Rallyes (second division since 2015). It also hosts a Rallye VHC (Véhicules Historiques de Compétition) event, allowing vintage cars to compete in their category. The event attracts amateur and experienced crews from all over France, making each edition a benchmark sporting event in Champagne.

A festive and popular event

Beyond the competition, the rally is a moment of popular celebration for the region's inhabitants and visitors. The service park set up in Damery allows the public to discover the racing cars, watch the mechanics at work, and experience the rally atmosphere up close with the crews. The local flavors of the Champagne vineyards accompany this sporting and friendly day.
