For many years, the town of Avranches has been offering a rich and diverse cultural season, supported by the cultural center located on boulevard Jozeau Marigné. From October to June, this performing arts program provides residents of Avranchin and the Mont-Saint-Michel bay with access to quality artistic creations, in a spirit of openness and discovery.

A demanding multidisciplinary program

The Avranches cultural season covers a wide range of artistic disciplines: theater, dance, circus, classical and contemporary music, storytelling, puppetry, musical theater, street art, and youth shows. The program is designed with the aim of offering demanding yet accessible performances, capable of appealing to all audiences and generations.

Quality artists

Each season hosts companies and artists recognized on the national and regional scene. The program combines contemporary creations, revivals of classics, and innovative forms, offering the public a diversity of perspectives and emotions. The shows are presented at the Avranches theater and in the venues of the urban community's municipalities.

Territorial reach

The Avranches cultural season is not limited to the municipal theater alone. It extends to 23 municipalities in the territory of the Mont-Saint-Michel Normandie urban community, bringing culture closer to the residents. The 2025-2026 season thus offers 34 shows and 67 performances spread across the entire territory.

Fostering social connection and curiosity

The Avranches cultural season aims to foster social connection, awaken curiosity and awareness, while remaining demanding, inspiring, and accessible. Meetings with artists, practical workshops, and cultural mediation activities accompany the program, allowing the public to actively participate in the cultural life of their territory.
