About Tour CM à la Voile
Launched in 2021, the Tour de la Charente-Maritime à la Voile is a major nautical event organized by the Departmental Sailing Committee 17 with the support of the Department. For five days in July, the event offers two formulas: a regatta for competitors and a rally for pleasure boaters. The course connects La Rochelle to Royan, passing through the Île de Ré, Île d'Aix, Île d'Oléron, Fort Boyard, and Rochefort. At each stopover, free nautical activities, concerts, and festive entertainment welcome participants and the public.

An exceptional maritime tour
The Tour de la Charente-Maritime à la Voile is a large-scale nautical event that allows you to discover the most beautiful maritime sites in the department. Created in 2021 by the Departmental Sailing Committee 17 with the support of the Department of Charente-Maritime, this five-day tour offers a spectacular course connecting La Rochelle to Royan, passing through the emblematic islands and heritage sites of the coast.
Two formulas for all sailors
The event offers two courses adapted to different sailor profiles: a regatta for competition enthusiasts seeking performance, and a rally for pleasure boaters who wish to sail for pleasure without classification. This dual approach allows everyone to participate according to their desires and level, in a spirit of sport or discovery.
Festive stopovers and free entertainment
The maritime course stops at the most prestigious ports in Charente-Maritime: La Flotte and Saint-Martin on the Île de Ré, the Île d'Aix, the Île d'Oléron, with Fort Boyard and the Corderie Royale de Rochefort as a backdrop. At each arrival, the public can enjoy free nautical initiations (dinghies, windsurfing, catamarans), concerts, and a festive atmosphere. The 4th edition in 2024 confirmed the popular success of this unique maritime event.
