Verdun Wine and Gastronomy Fair

An Unmissable Gastronomic Event

The Verdun Wine, Gastronomy, and Table Arts Fair has established itself over the years as one of the major gastronomic events in the Meuse department. Organized every year in March by the Basket Club de Verdun, this fair hosts dozens of exhibitors from all the wine and gastronomic regions of France.

A Tour of France of Flavors

With over 80 producers and artisans present, the fair offers a true taste journey through French terroirs. Winemakers from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Alsace, the Rhône Valley, or the Loire Valley mingle with local producers from Meuse, offering an exceptional range of wines, spirits, and local products. Visitors can taste and buy directly from producers, creating a special link between artisans and consumers.

Entertainment and Discoveries

Beyond the tasting stands, the fair offers various gastronomic entertainment: culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs, food and wine pairing workshops, and each year a special regional or international theme. The 2026 edition will highlight the Mediterranean, with a focus on Corsican products and an exceptional Italian culinary demonstration with Chef Zappala from Le Mess des Épicuriens.

A Solidarity Event

The originality of this fair lies in its organization by the Basket Club de Verdun, a local sports association. The profits from the event contribute to the financing of the club's activities, making each visit a gesture of solidarity for Verdun's sports. The club's volunteers ensure the welcome and smooth running of the event with professionalism and friendliness.

A Suitable and Friendly Setting

The Salle René Cassin offers a spacious and modular area, allowing for easy movement between stands. The fair takes place over a full weekend, with extended hours to allow everyone to fully enjoy the event. A tasting glass is offered with the entrance ticket, inviting visitors to stroll through the aisles and discover the gustatory riches offered by the exhibitors.
