World and electronic music festival in Montignac-Lascaux in Dordogne
The Vizara Festival has established itself as a must-attend event on the music scene in Périgord Noir. Every summer, in August, the festival takes over a natural site on the banks of the Vézère river in Montignac-Lascaux for two evenings of music blending world music and electronic music.
The festival stands out for its original artistic direction, at the crossroads of world music and electronic sounds. International artists and emerging talents take to the stage, offering a sonic journey between electro, bass music, world beats, and live performances. Each edition grows in ambition with an ever richer program.
Beyond the music, Vizara Festival offers a true festive village: local food trucks, a bar with craft beers and cold drinks, kombucha, local craft stalls, merchandise, and various activities. A rest and camping area allows festival-goers to extend the experience.
Vizara Festival is expected to return to Montignac-Lascaux in the summer of 2026 for its 4th edition. The festival will continue to offer an electro-eclectic program in its natural setting on the banks of the Vézère river. Dates and lineup to be announced.
