The young audience event in Burgundy

À Pas Contés is a festival dedicated to young audience performing arts organized every year in February by the Association Bourguignonne Culturelle (ABC) in Dijon and in the towns of Côte-d'Or. For over twenty-five years, it has offered a demanding and varied program for children and families, highlighting the most diverse artistic forms: theater, object theater, puppetry, circus, dance, and musical performances.

A program for all ages

The festival stands out for its attention to the very young, with shows accessible from 1 year old, as well as offerings for children aged 5 and 8 and up. The formats are adapted to young spectators, with short durations and intimate forms that foster proximity between artists and the audience. Each edition hosts around twenty companies, often from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, but also from all over France.

A touring festival in the metropolitan area

The shows take place in numerous venues in Dijon and its metropolitan area: Théâtre des Feuillants, Salle Devosge, La Minoterie, Salle Camille Claudel, Bistrot de la Scène, and many others. This territorial network allows it to reach a large and diverse audience, from families in the city center to residents of outlying neighborhoods.

A commitment to young audience creation

Beyond dissemination, À Pas Contés is also a time for professional meetings, welcoming programmers, companies, and players in young audience performing arts from all over the region. The festival thus actively contributes to the development and recognition of artistic creation for children, in conjunction with the national network Scènes d'enfance – ASSITEJ France.

À Pas Contés — edition 2026

The 26th edition of the À Pas Contés festival will take place from February 6 to 20, 2026 in Dijon and the towns of Côte-d'Or. The festival will offer a new selection of young audience shows, true to its artistic standards and diversity of forms.
