About ATF
This event no longer takes place. The American Tours Festival, a major event for American culture at the Parc des Expositions de Tours, held its last edition in 2019. Subsequent editions (2020, 2021, 2022, then 2023) were successively cancelled, and the event was finally permanently discontinued.
For over ten years, the festival brought together up to 65,000 visitors around rock, country, motorbikes, and American culture.
A discontinued festival
The American Tours Festival no longer takes place. Created in 2007, this festival dedicated to American culture was held every summer (generally early July) at the Parc des Expositions de Tours. Its last edition took place in 2019.
The 2020 edition was cancelled due to the health crisis, then the 2021, 2022, and 2023 editions were successively postponed and then cancelled. Local press finally announced the permanent discontinuation of the event.
What the festival was like
For three days, the American Tours Festival immersed visitors in a 100% American universe: rock and country concerts, exhibitions of motorbikes and classic cars, a large urban parade, kustom show, rodeo, and Western entertainment. The event was among the most important in the region and gathered up to 65,000 visitors.
A distinct successor
A more modest event, the American Touraine Festival, emerged in 2024 in other municipalities of the department (Véretz and Azay-sur-Cher), with a different organization and format. It is not a revival of the historic American Tours Festival.
ATF — edition 2026
There is no 2026 edition of the American Tours Festival. This festival, organized until 2019 at the Parc des Expositions de Tours, has been definitively discontinued after several consecutive cancellations (2020 to 2023).

The American Tours Festival is no longer held. Its last actual edition was in 2019; the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 editions were successively cancelled, and the event has been definitively discontinued.
Therefore, no 2026 edition will take place at the Parc des Expositions de Tours. A distinct event, the American Touraine Festival, has existed since 2024 in other municipalities of the department (Véretz and Azay-sur-Cher): it is not a revival of this festival.
