Andernos Jazz Festival 2026 — 53rd Edition
From July 24 to 26, 2026, the Andernos Jazz Festival returns for its 53rd edition on the shores of the Bassin d'Arcachon. One of the oldest jazz festivals in the South-West offers three days of entirely free concerts, bringing together around a hundred musicians — international headliners, national talents, and local scene — spread across several outdoor stages throughout the city (Jardin Louis David, esplanade de la Jetée, place du 14 Juillet, plage du Bétey).
Tribute to Miles Davis
The 2026 edition celebrates the centenary of Miles Davis's birth, who performed twice in Andernos. The Jazz Continuum Orchestra creates an original piece for the occasion titled « Miles s'entend à 100 ans ». Andernos Jazz, half a century of free jazz
The Andernos Jazz Festival is a jazz institution in the Southwest of France. Created in 1973, it is one of the oldest jazz festivals in the region. Every July, it transforms the emblematic locations of Andernos-les-Bains into open-air jazz stages.
Free concerts in emblematic locations
The festival offers about fifteen entirely free concerts spread across four locations in Andernos: the Jetée, the Jardin Louis David, the Place du 14 Juillet, and the Plage du Bétey. These locations offer a unique setting between the sea and pine trees.
Varied and accessible jazz
The program covers a wide spectrum of jazz: swing, bebop, gypsy jazz, fusion, vocal jazz, and contemporary jazz. The festival favors an accessible and festive approach, open to both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts.
A unique summer atmosphere
The festival's atmosphere is inseparable from the seaside setting of the Arcachon Bay. Sunset concerts on the jetty or by the Bétey beach are unforgettable moments.
