For its 20th anniversary, the Beaune Blues Boogie Festival International brings together five days of concerts, dinner shows, and jam sessions in the historic heart of Beaune, from December 2nd to 6th, 2026. Franco-British pianist Henri Herbert and festival founder Jean-Pierre Bertrand headline the event alongside Nicolle Rochelle & The Dimes, Katharina Alber, and Sébastien Troendlé.
A 20th Anniversary Edition blending concerts, gastronomy, and Burgundy wine
From December 2nd to 6th, 2026, the Beaune Blues Boogie Festival International celebrates its twentieth year across five venues in Beaune's historic center: La Lanterne Magique, the Théâtre de Beaune, La Comédie du Vin, the cellars of Domaine Albert Bichot, and the Hôtel Ibis Beaune Centre.
On Wednesday, December 2nd, the "Groove International" opening features the Sebastian Ellis Quartet and Nicolle Rochelle & The Dimes at La Lanterne Magique. On Thursday, December 3rd, the Théâtre de Beaune hosts a "Piano Marathon" with Henri Herbert, Katharina Alber, Sébastien Troendlé, Les Silkys, and festival founder Jean-Pierre Bertrand. On Friday, December 4th, a free jazz aperitif at the Hôtel Ibis Centre precedes a dinner-cabaret at La Comédie du Vin. On Saturday, December 5th, the "Grand Festival Day" includes a Burgundy wine tasting at Caves Bichot, a free swing aperitif at the Hôtel de La Poste, and the gala evening. The festival concludes on Sunday, December 6th, with a musical brunch and a jam session featuring all the artists.

The Beaune Blues Boogie Festival International was born in 2006 from the passion of a group of Beaune music lovers for blues and boogie-woogie piano. Every year, for five days in late November and early December, the festival transforms Beaune into the world capital of these music genres, welcoming virtuoso pianists from all over the globe. The festival is distinguished by its friendly and intimate atmosphere, far from large mass events, prioritizing artistic quality and proximity between musicians and the public.

The festival's program unfolds in several emblematic venues in Beaune: the Lanterne Magique, the city's performance hall, the Théâtre de Beaune, the Comédie du Vin, the Caves du Domaine Albert Bichot, and the Hôtel Ibis Beaune Centre. The 2025 edition, the 19th of its kind, notably featured performances by Mountain Men, Stéfan Patry en Quintet, Ben Beck Trio, and Jean-Pierre Bertrand Trio, confirming the international dimension of the event.
