Salon Vins & Terroirs: A Tour of France's Vineyards in Chalon-sur-Saône
Born in 2024, the Salon Vins & Terroirs quickly established itself as a must-attend event for wine and gastronomy lovers in Saône-et-Loire. Organized by the Comité des Foires and A Chalon Événements, this major exhibition takes over the Parc des Expositions in Chalon-sur-Saône every late November to offer a taste journey through French vineyards.
70 Exhibitors, a Diversity of Terroirs
The salon brings together sixty to 70 exhibitors from the finest wine regions: Burgundy, Alsace, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, Champagne, Côtes du Rhône, Jura, Languedoc, Roussillon, Sud-Ouest, and Loire Valley, complemented by Italian winemakers. Alongside wines, artisans offer their specialties: cheeses, cured meats, oils, honeys, and other local treasures to taste and take home.
Activities for All Palates
Beyond free tastings, the Salon Vins & Terroirs offers an enriching program of workshops and activities. Visitors can participate in introductory oenology sessions, discover food and wine pairings during workshops led by sommeliers, and attend culinary demonstrations by pastry chefs like Aurélien Ferré. Olfactory workshops on wine aromas and thematic sessions on Loire or Languedoc wines complete the program.
An Accessible and Friendly Event
Admission at 5 euros grants access to the entire salon and includes a tasting glass. Children under 18 accompanied by an adult enter for free. Several on-site food stalls offer regional specialties. The warm atmosphere and accessibility make the salon an ideal event for a family outing or a get-together with friends as the holiday season approaches.
