The electronic scene of the Rhuys peninsula

Since 2016, the association Braises Sonores has been enlivening the electronic music scene of the Rhuys peninsula, a maritime territory located at the gateway to the Gulf of Morbihan. The eponymous festival, created to boost local cultural offerings and provide an alternative to classic summer events, has established itself as a highly anticipated gathering for electronic music lovers in southern Brittany.

Electro, house, techno, and groove

Braises Sonores' programming covers a wide spectrum of electronic music: electro-house, techno, dubstep, groove, drum and bass, and ambient. Around twenty artists and DJs, blending local talents with nationally renowned artists, perform on the festival's various stages: two outdoor stages, three indoor rooms, and an open air event in the site's gardens.

A maritime and green setting

The festival takes place in Arzon, a town located at the tip of the Rhuys peninsula, facing the gulf and the Atlantic Ocean. The festival site, with its gardens and spaces open to the maritime landscape, offers a unique setting for an electronic festival, far from the urban club atmosphere. The proximity of beaches, the port of Crouesty, and coastal paths adds to the event's charm.

An associative and committed festival

Driven by the Braises Sonores association and a team of volunteers, the festival is part of an associative and participatory approach. The goal is to diversify the festive and musical offerings of the Rhuys peninsula, often perceived as a summer resort area, by bringing a contemporary and demanding musical program.

Resilience and comeback

After an interruption in 2024, Braises Sonores made its comeback in 2025 with an expanded program and a renewed format, demonstrating the resilience of the organizing team and the public's attachment to this unique event on the Morbihan coast.
