A friendly festival in the heart of the Lot

The Cavagnac Festival was born from the Les Mâles-Fêteurs association's desire to bring life to the village of Cavagnac by offering leisure activities open to everyone. Since its debut in 2017, this contemporary music festival has built a loyal following of families and people of all ages, drawn by its eclectic lineup and the warm, authentic atmosphere of the Lot region.

A format that evolves year by year

The festival takes place every July in Cavagnac, at the Reynal site. The format changes with each edition: it ran for three days until 2024, shifting to two evenings of concerts in 2026, on Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th. The evenings are dedicated to live music, featuring bands and artists across a wide spectrum: rock, progressive rock, rock covers, French chanson, pop, and contemporary music. Over the years, the festival has hosted artists such as Clément Verzi (finalist of The Voice), Douchka, Olivier Villa, Me Again, Echo Cahors, Sulfur, So Shaft, Why Notes, La Petite Sophie, Swanglo, La Deryve, and more recently Oiolossé, Rose Baby Machine, the Tribute Goldman by Boni-D, Massey Fergusound System, and Dis-le à ton voisin.

The night market for artisans

The night market is one of the Cavagnac Festival's signature features. It brings together over fifteen exhibitors offering ready-to-wear clothing, leather goods, home decor, wellness and cosmetic products, jewelry, children's accessories, unique finds, and gift ideas. It runs alongside the concert evenings throughout the festival.

Entertainment for the whole family

Beyond the music, the Cavagnac Festival stands out for its rich variety of family activities, which change from one year to the next: pony rides for children, circus arts workshops, sidecar rides, falconry demonstrations with birds of prey, vintage vehicle gatherings, clown and mime shows, fire shows, and fireworks.

The tradition of the patron

Several editions have been placed under the patronage of a public figure who adds their own touch to the event: Clément Verzi sponsored the 2023 edition, and Alex Champagnac the 6th edition in 2024. This patronage system highlights the festival's deep roots in the local cultural fabric.

A popular and accessible event

The Cavagnac Festival focuses on accessibility and friendliness, with moderate prices whenever an entry fee is charged. A bar and food stalls are available on-site throughout the festival. After a two-year hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the health crisis, the festival returned in 2022 and has remained a staple of the Lot summer ever since.
