Since 1996, the Chansons Buissonnières association has been pursuing a unique and generous cultural project: bringing quality French chanson to the small villages of Pays Voironnais, in Isère. The Chansons Buissonnières adventure was initiated by Jacqueline Girodet, an emblematic figure of chanson in Isère. For nearly thirty seasons, she has curated a demanding and eclectic program, introducing audiences to talented singer-songwriters who often struggle to access traditional distribution networks. Each season features several concerts spread across different communes in Pays Voironnais and its surroundings.
