The second largest municipal festival in Creuse, 10,000 visitors expected
Crocq en Fête is a popular event that transforms the small medieval town of Crocq into a giant party place every year. Ranked as the second largest municipal festival in Creuse after the Fête de la Trinité in Guéret, it attracts around 10,000 visitors over a weekend. The event is organized by the Crocq festival committee with the support of the municipality and numerous volunteers.
The weekend begins on Friday evening with an open-air concert and continues on Saturday with the torchlight procession, the parade of flower floats through the town streets, and fireworks launched from the medieval towers. Sunday is dedicated to the pétanque competition, fairground attractions, and the countryside meal. For the younger ones, Crocq en Fête boasts being "the largest open-air disco in Creuse".
Perched at an altitude of 800 meters, the Crocq site offers an exceptional setting for this patronal festival. The medieval towers serve as a natural backdrop for the festivities, with daytime entertainment and nighttime ambiance. Meals prepared by local associations, fairground rides, and DJ sets complete a program that makes Crocq en Fête an unmissable summer event in Creuse.
The 2026 edition of Crocq en Fête will be held from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026. On the program: open-air concerts, torchlight procession, parade of flower floats, fireworks launched from the medieval towers, pétanque competition, and fairground attractions. Countryside meals by reservation.
