A Day of Solidarity Against Breast Cancer

Déols en Rose is the inaugural day of Pink October in the Châteauroux urban area. Organized at the Prairie de l'Abbaye and on Avenue Paul Langevin in Déols, this event brings together athletes, families, and health professionals for a day of solidarity, prevention, and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

Les Foulées Déoloises

The sporting aspect of the day is provided by Les Foulées Déoloises, which offers several events suitable for all levels. The program includes a 5 km canicross starting from the Prairie de l'Abbaye at 8:30 am, 8 km (6 euros) and 16 km (10 euros) solo races or 12 euros for a two-person relay, as well as children's races of 700 m and 1,600 m starting at 11:15 am. A 10 km pink walk is also organized by the association Les Chènevières.

Health and Prevention Village

The health village opens its doors at 10 am with numerous prevention and information stands run by health professionals and associations. The Ligue Contre le Cancer (League Against Cancer) is hosting a conference-debate at 10 am on the theme of supporting children facing illness. The association CALM36 will present patient testimonials at 11:15 am, offering a moment of exchange and sharing.

Entertainment and Camaraderie

The official inauguration of Déols en Rose takes place at 12:30 pm with a festive moment hosted by singer Elodie Dubois, along with musical and choreographic performances. The day is intended to be a moment of camaraderie and solidarity, where everyone can contribute in their own way to the fight against breast cancer, whether by participating in sporting events, visiting the health village, or simply by wearing pink.
