The electronic music festival facing the ocean in Quiberon
Écume Festival is an electronic music festival held every summer in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, 200 meters from the beaches of the wild coast of the Quiberon peninsula. Created in 2022, the festival offers a unique experience combining techno, hard techno, and eurodance on two stages, one of which is equipped with the mythical Funktion One sound system. For one to two days in August, the Stade Roger Boutet transforms into an open-air dancefloor facing the Atlantic, attracting electronic music lovers in an exceptional seaside setting.
Since 2022, Écume Festival has been making the Quiberon peninsula vibrate to the rhythms of electronic music. Located at the Stade Roger Boutet in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, just 200 meters from the wild coast beaches, the festival offers a unique experience where the deep bass of techno blends with the sound of the waves.
The festival features two complementary stages. The main stage, equipped with the legendary Funktion One sound system, is entirely dedicated to techno and hard techno, offering exceptional open-air acoustic quality. The second stage offers an alternative program mixing eurodance, house, and other electronic styles.
Each edition offers up to 13 hours of non-stop music, from afternoon until night. DJs and live artists perform one after another on the two stages, creating a progressive build-up that culminates in the evening with the festival's headliners.
The geographical location of Écume Festival is one of its major assets. The Quiberon peninsula, with its fine sandy beaches, its wild coast battered by waves, and its spectacular maritime landscapes, offers a unique backdrop for an electronic music festival. Festival-goers can enjoy the beach before or after the concerts.
Since its first edition in 2022, Écume Festival has rapidly gained notoriety and scale, expanding from one day to two days of programming for its 2026 edition. This growth reflects the appeal of an original concept that combines quality electronic music with an exceptional natural setting.
The 5th edition of Écume Festival will be held on August 7th and 8th, 2026, at the Stade Roger Boutet in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon. For the first time, the festival extends over two days of electronic music facing the ocean.
