Festidreuz: Over 20 Years of Music in Fouesnant
Festidreuz was born in 2004 from a festive initiative to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Mousterlin school in Fouesnant. What started as a neighborhood party has become, over the years, one of the most popular music festivals in South Finistère. In 2005, parents of students passed the torch to a team of passionate volunteers who have grown the festival year after year.
An Eclectic and Popular Program
Festidreuz offers a varied program each year, featuring French chanson, pop, electro, reggae, and rock. The festival hosts both established artists and emerging talents, offering a rich musical panorama accessible to all audiences. Artists like Véronique Sanson, Stephan Eicher, Polo & Pan, Eddy de Pretto, Soolking, Petit Biscuit, and Benjamin Biolay have performed on the Festidreuz stage.
A Natural Setting Between Land and Sea
The festival takes place on the Kerchann plain in Fouesnant, in the Glénan archipelago, offering a remarkable natural setting. The proximity of the sea and the mild climate of South Finistère contribute to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that makes Festidreuz famous.
A Non-Profit and Friendly Festival
True to its non-profit origins, Festidreuz remains driven by a team of passionate volunteers who bring the festival to life with enthusiasm and professionalism. This human dimension is reflected in the warm atmosphere of the festival, where close interaction between artists and the public is prioritized. Festidreuz makes a point of offering affordable prices, allowing as many people as possible to enjoy the music.
Over 30,000 Festival-Goers Each Year
After more than twenty years of existence, Festidreuz has become firmly established in the festival scene of western Brittany. Each year, over 30,000 festival-goers gather on the Kerchann plain to share three days of music, celebration, and conviviality, making Festidreuz an unmissable summer event in Finistère.
