Festival Changer d'Airs: Music in the Countryside
For over a decade, the Festival Changer d'Airs has been filling the village of Venon, perched on the heights of Grenoble, with music. This free open-air festival has become a must-attend event for music lovers in Isère, offering a unique setting at the crossroads of rural character and urban proximity.
A Village Celebrating
Every end of May, the Venon village hall and its surroundings are transformed into an open-air festival venue. The site, located at 168 chemin de l'École, hosts concerts, local food stalls, and a warm atmosphere for two days. The festival's philosophy is to allow as many people as possible to find something they enjoy by listening to bands from Isère and elsewhere, across a wide variety of musical genres.
An Eclectic and Engaged Program
The Festival Changer d'Airs' program stands out for its musical diversity: rock, French chanson, world music, folk, electro, and many other styles share the festival stage. The goal is to offer artistic diversity targeting a broad audience, from families to seasoned music enthusiasts.
The festival makes a point of programming bands from Isère and the region, thus contributing to the influence of the local music scene while also welcoming national artists.
An Eco-Responsible Festival
The Festival Changer d'Airs is committed to an eco-responsible approach. On-site catering favors local and organic products, and environmental awareness initiatives are offered to festival-goers. The Saturday evening meal, served at the table, is carefully prepared with quality products.
An Exceptional Natural Setting
Venon, just 15 minutes from Grenoble, offers an exceptional panorama of the Belledonne mountain range and the Grésivaudan valley. The festival thus allows you to change your air by leaving the city to enjoy music in a green setting, true to the spirit of its name.
