The festival is expected to once again offer several chamber music concerts featuring young professional artists, an artistic residency, and masterclasses.

A Young Chamber Music Festival in Corrèze
The Festival de La Gente is a chamber music festival created in 2023 in the Pays de Tulle, in Corrèze. This young festival takes place every year at the end of August, offering four days of intimate concerts in the region of Saint-Salvadour and its surroundings. The festival draws its inspiration from Anne Bartelloni-Delamaire, a singer from Corrèze, and aims to promote chamber music in rural areas while supporting young professional artists at the beginning of their careers.
Young Artists and Musical Excellence
The programming of the Festival de La Gente highlights young professional musicians at the start of their careers, offering a platform for performance and audience interaction. The festival hosts various chamber music ensembles: instrumental ensembles, voice and piano duos, trios, quartets... During the 2025 edition, the audience had the opportunity to discover the soloists of the ensemble Liturina, mezzo-soprano Emma Roberts, and pianist Lucas Belkhiri, among others. The repertoire explores both chamber music classics and contemporary creations.
Artistic Residencies and Masterclasses
Since its third edition in 2025, the festival is hosting its first artistic residency, allowing musicians to work on-site before presenting their creations to the public. The festival also offers masterclasses and discovery workshops led by young professional musicians, fostering transmission and opening up classical music to all audiences. These educational initiatives enrich the festival experience and build bridges between artists and local residents.
Six Events Over a Long Weekend
The festival takes place over a long weekend at the end of August, from Thursday to Sunday, with six events spread across the four days. Concerts are held in heritage sites in the region: churches, castles, village halls, creating an intimate atmosphere conducive to listening to chamber music. This concentrated format allows the audience to experience a true musical immersion over a few days.
A Festival Rooted in the Territory
The Festival de La Gente is part of the cultural dynamic of the Pays de Tulle and contributes to the cultural life of the rural Corrèze region. By combining musical excellence, support for young artists, and local roots, the festival has found its place in the cultural landscape of Corrèze and is gradually establishing itself as an anticipated summer event for chamber music lovers.
