About Festival des Horizons
Festival des Horizons — edition 2026
Festival des Horizons 2026 — June 27th and 28th at the Domaine de Cangé
The Festival des Horizons returns on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th, 2026, at the Domaine de Cangé in Saint-Avertin. Staying true to its roots as one of the largest free open-air festivals in Touraine, it offers two nights of concerts in front of the château, set within a wooded park along the banks of the Cher river, attracting over 15,000 spectators each year.
A Global Musical Lineup
The 2026 lineup unveiled by the City of Saint-Avertin features four headliners—Jérémy Frerot, Maruja Limón, TamaYo & Calle 37, and Starmania by the Grand Orchestre de Saint-Avertin—complemented over the two evenings by Fanfare Löwen, Ghillie's, DJ Nérique, Duo Olicène, Louman B, and La Vache Qui Rock.
- Saturday, June 27th — Maruja Limón: Six musicians from Barcelona bring a repertoire rooted in flamenco, bulería, rumba, and Latin rhythms. Acoustic guitar, expressive vocals, congas, and palmas blend with brass for a warm, sun-drenched musical journey. These heirs to the Catalan rumba style of Ojos de Brujo are set to electrify the Domaine de Cangé.
- Sunday, June 28th — Jérémy Frerot: Formerly part of the hit duo Frero Delavega, the artist has been pursuing a solo career since 2017. His three albums are all certified gold, cementing his place in the new French scene with a blend of pop, electronic, and organic sounds, all while maintaining a focus on meaningful lyrics and environmental advocacy for ocean protection.
Two Nights, Two Vibes
Saturday blends brass bands, musical theater, and world music: Fanfare Löwen kicks off the evening, followed by the Grand Orchestre de Saint-Avertin performing Starmania, then Ghillie's, Maruja Limón, and finally DJ Nérique. Sunday features a progression from Duo Olicène, Louman B, La Vache Qui Rock, and TamaYo & Calle 37, leading up to the closing concert by Jérémy Frerot on the main stage.
Much More Than Just Concerts
Beyond the music, the festival features an artisan village with local creators, international food stalls, dance performances, an exhibition, and a youth area with activities for children, all supported by the active involvement of Saint-Avertin's local associations. The free admission and the stunning setting of the Domaine de Cangé, with its 18th-century château, make every edition a major family-friendly celebration just outside Tours.
