The traveling festival of ecological transition in Côte Landes Nature
Created by the Communauté de communes Côte Landes Nature, the Festival Eco des Pins is an original event that combines ecological awareness, culture, and conviviality. Traveling by nature, the festival sets up each year in a different town in the region — from Lit-et-Mixe to Saint-Julien-en-Born, including Cap de l'Homy — to reach an ever-wider audience and anchor ecological transition in the daily lives of residents.
Eco des Pins stands out for its founding values: total freeness, eco-responsibility, and family accessibility. All activities, shows, and workshops are offered at no cost to visitors, so that ecological transition is everyone's business, without financial barriers.
The eco-village is the beating heart of Eco des Pins. This space brings together associations, local businesses, and project leaders involved in ecological transition. Visitors discover inspiring local initiatives and meet the change-makers in the Côte Landes Nature region.
The Festival Eco des Pins offers a continuous program of activities throughout the day:
Supported by the Communauté de communes Côte Landes Nature, Eco des Pins is part of the territory's energy and ecological transition policy. The festival unites local stakeholders — associations, elected officials, businesses, citizens — around a common project: making ecological transition a joyful, shared, and accessible reality for all.
The Eco des Pins Festival returns for its 5th edition on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the Parc du Barrat in Castets (Landes). Two festive, free, and family-friendly days organized by the Communauté de communes Côte Landes Nature, centered around ecological transition: eco-village, entertainment, workshops, concerts, and local food.
After several itinerant editions across the Côte Landes Nature territory, the Eco des Pins Festival sets up at the Parc du Barrat in Castets (40260) on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2026 for its 5th edition.
For two days, residents, families, and visitors are invited to gather in an exceptional natural setting around the values of ecological transition and living together. The event remains true to its DNA: festive, committed, family-friendly, and entirely free.
The eco-village highlights initiatives and local actors committed to ecological transition. Visitors will meet associations, local businesses, and project leaders focusing on biodiversity, soft mobility, reuse, and responsible consumption.
Throughout the weekend, fun and creative activities are offered for all ages: workshops, shows, walks, concerts, and food provided by food trucks offering local and seasonal products.
