The Breuillet Festival: Summer with Music and Conviviality
Breuillet is a commune in Essonne, crossed by the Orge river and boasting a particularly active associative network. The Breuillet Festival refers to all the festive highlights of the Breuillet summer, jointly organized by the town hall, the Conservatory, and the Breuillet Festival Committee.
A Very Active Festival Committee
The Breuillet Festival Committee is a volunteer association that enlivens the commune throughout the year: Valentine's Day with an orchestra in February, a dancing sauerkraut evening in March, a Basque evening in May, a Christmas market in December, New Year's Eve. The team, reachable at [email protected], carefully prepares each edition to offer festive moments to the residents of Breuillet.
Breuillet Festive in Music (Music Festival)
The new format of the Music Festival in Breuillet is now called « Breuillet festive in music » and takes place over an entire day in mid-June. On the program: outdoor musical entertainment, food trucks, creative workshops, concerts, and a disco evening. The detailed program is announced on the municipal agenda closer to the event.
July 14th in Breuillet
The national holiday of July 14th is a highlight of the Breuillet summer, jointly organized by the town hall and the Festival Committee:
- Republican picnic at Jardin du Moulin with the Lieusaint majorettes and fun workshops (balloon structures, masks, origami)
- Guinguette (open-air dance hall) with an orchestra in the gym car park
- Torchlight procession in Rue des Prairies
- Fireworks near the Gymnasium
Essonne: The Nature Side
Breuillet is a commune that offers a pleasant natural setting, with its developed banks of the Orge, its green spaces (including the Parc du Moulin Roger Moessner), and its proximity to the Dourdan forest. The commune has several sports and cultural facilities that host the local festival's events: Salle Gervais Pajadon (municipal festival hall), Auditorium du Moulin des Muses (Conservatory), gymnasium, and Jardin du Moulin.
Breuillet en Fête — edition 2026
The Breuillet Festival 2026 stretches from the Music Festival on Saturday, June 13 ("Breuillet festive in music": musical entertainment, food trucks, creative workshops, concerts and disco in the town) until the National Holiday on Tuesday, July 14 (republican picnic at the Jardin du Moulin, open-air dance with orchestra at the gymnasium car park, torchlight procession and fireworks display). Free admission for all outdoor activities.
Breuillet Festival 2026 — from June 13 to July 14
The Breuillet summer of 2026 opens in mid-June with the new format of the Music Festival, titled «Breuillet festive in music», which will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 throughout the day. On the program: open-air musical entertainment, food trucks, creative workshops, concerts and a disco night. The town hall and the Breuillet Conservatory coordinate the activities in the town's public spaces.
The highlight of the season is then the National Holiday on July 14, 2026, organized by the town hall and the Festival Committee:
- 19:30 — Republican picnic at the Jardin du Moulin with the Lieusaint majorettes, balloon structures, mask creation and origami workshops
- 21:00 — Open-air dance with orchestra at the gymnasium car park
- 21:30 — Distribution of glow sticks at the Moulin des Muses car park
- 22:15 — Torchlight procession in the Rue des Prairies
- 23:00 — Fireworks display near the Gymnasium
The Festival Committee in 2026
The Breuillet Festival Committee also enlivens the town throughout the year with recurring events (Valentine's Day with the Sans Sucre Ajouté orchestra in February, sauerkraut evening in March, Basque evening in May) and participates in the organization of the July 14 festivities.
