A large flea market
The main attraction of the festival is its huge flea market which brings together over 300 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, on the Place du 8 Mai and in the village streets. From 8 am to 6 pm, bargain hunters and bargain lovers can rummage through the stalls in search of hidden treasures: antique objects, furniture, books, clothes, toys, dishes...
This giant flea market creates a lively and friendly atmosphere where it's pleasant to stroll, discover, and negotiate in good spirits.
New garlic tasting
Highlight of the day: the free tasting of new garlic offered from 9:30 am by the Larche Festival Committee. New garlic, harvested in spring before full maturity, is a fresh and mild product that can be enjoyed in many ways.
Visitors can taste it prepared in all its forms:
- Raw new garlic
- Roasted in the oven
- On toast with butter and salt
- In soups and creams
- In traditional local preparations
This free tasting allows visitors to (re)discover this early vegetable and its delicate flavors, very different from dried garlic.

- By car: Larche is located about 8 km south of Brive-la-Gaillarde. Follow the D921 towards Souillac/Martel.
- Parking: Free parking in the village and surrounding areas (high attendance, arriving early recommended).
- By train: Brive-la-Gaillarde station (8 km away), then taxi or bus.
