Three days of beer celebrations at Les Halles in Rethel
Every September, Les Halles in Rethel, located at Place de Caen and the Place du Théâtre Louis-Jouvet, hosts the Beer Festival, organized by the Les Folies Ardennaises association. Festivities run from Friday afternoon through Sunday evening, with free entry throughout the entire weekend.
Over 60 draft beers
Tasting takes center stage at Les Halles all weekend long, with over 60 draft beers featured for 2026. Stalls are run by local associations, bars, and Rethel merchants. In 2025, five craft microbreweries—Jack's Farm, Charlier & Fils, B90, La Cuvée d'Arthur, and Les Coulous—hosted their own counters alongside around twenty stands serving Belgian and regional favorites: Chimay, Chouffe, Delirium, Duvel, Saint-Feuillien, Val-Dieu, Ardwen, Fagnes, Goudale, and Queue de Charrue. Two champagne bars and various food stalls round out the selection, offering pâté en croûte, Ardennes charcuterie, fries, crêpes, ice cream, churros, and nougat.
Concerts, DJ set, and fireworks
The musical lineup changes every year. In 2026, the R'Live orchestra will perform an 80s/90s show on Friday, followed by the "Médecine de Reims – Les Boules de feu" brass band and the band All Guilty on Saturday, leading into a DJ set inside the hall. RVM Live will close out the event on Sunday afternoon. The fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday at 10:30 PM. Previous editions have featured acts such as the La Dent Rose orchestra, Arno and Co, Les Shows Boulette, Collectif ARDN, and Collectif Métissé.
