As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Gradignan, south of the Bordeaux metropolitan area, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces in the early evening, from sunset until late into the night, across all genres and for all audiences.

Typically, the evening takes place in the heart of Parc de l'Ermitage, an emblematic green setting of the commune, where the City of Gradignan brings together numerous groups, the music conservatory, and the Harmonie Sainte-Marguerite.
