The Fiera di u Turisimu Campagnolu in Filitosa
Organized by the Fédération Fiere di Corsica, the Fiera di u Turisimu Campagnolu (Rural Tourism Fair) is held annually in early August at the prehistoric site of Filitosa, in the commune of Sollacaro, in Corse-du-Sud. Created in 1992, this fair has become one of the most anticipated summer events in the Taravu valley and throughout Corsica.
An event rooted in its territory
For three days, the megalithic site of Filitosa welcomes a hundred Corsican producers, artisans, farmers, and rural tourism stakeholders. The first day is traditionally reserved for professionals, with the following two days open to the general public. Each edition highlights a guest region or terroir: in recent years, the Basque Country, Sardinia, Alsace, Liguria, and Lot have had this honor.

Visitors discover typical local products: cheeses, cured meats, wines, olive oil, honey, pastries, as well as traditional crafts (pottery, cutlery, wood carving, basketry, ironwork, jewelry).
