Game Fair: The Unmissable Event for Hunting and Nature

Since 1981, the Game Fair has brought together hunting, fishing, nature, and rural tradition enthusiasts every year in the heart of Sologne. Organized at the Parc Équestre Fédéral in Lamotte-Beuvron, this three-day show is the largest of its kind in France, welcoming over 92,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors representing more than 5,000 brands.

An International-Scale Show

The Game Fair doesn't just present products: it offers immersive experiences that allow the public to discover, test, and participate. The 11 themed villages structure the event: Premium Village, Dog Village, Archery Village, Fishing Village, Artisan Cutlery Village, Equestrian Village, and many more. Each village offers a complete universe with specialized exhibitors, demonstrations, and activities.

Equipment and Innovations

Exhibitors showcase the latest innovations in hunting weapons, optics, technical clothing, ammunition, fishing gear, dog accessories, and handmade knives. Major French and international brands exhibit alongside local artisans and manufacturers.

Demonstrations and Activities

The entertainment program enriches the Game Fair: hunting dog demonstrations (retriever, spaniel, pointer, setter), giant clay pigeon shooting, rifle shooting and running boar, archery, falconry, and knife forging. Visitors can participate in numerous activities and discover ancestral know-how.

Gastronomy and Camaraderie

The Game Fair also celebrates local gastronomy: game tastings, local Sologne products, and a grand dinner show on Saturday evening, accompanied by a fireworks display. The friendly and rustic atmosphere, in the heart of a vast natural space, makes the show a moment of sharing among families and enthusiasts.

An Event Rooted in Sologne

The choice of Lamotte-Beuvron, in the heart of Sologne, is no coincidence: this region of forests, ponds, and heathlands is the cradle of French hunting and an emblematic territory of preserved nature. The Parc Équestre Fédéral offers a 40-hectare site with free parking, ideal for hosting an event of this scale.
