The Eastern festival dedicated to the guitar
The Guitare 57 Festival is the festival of Eastern France entirely dedicated to the guitar in all its forms. Organized by the Association Chloé & Clyde in Marly en Moselle, it offers each autumn at the G. Jansem Sociocultural Center a program combining evening concerts and afternoon activities: masterclasses, open stage for amateur musicians, exhibitors (luthiers, music stores, amp and effects manufacturers) and meetings between enthusiasts. A cultural, musical, and family event centered around the six-string.
Created in 2021 by the Association Chloé & Clyde, the Guitare 57 Festival is a unique musical event in Eastern France, entirely dedicated to the guitar in all its variations: acoustic, electric, classical, folk, rock, blues, jazz, and many other styles. Every autumn, it takes over the G. Jansem Sociocultural Center in Marly for a festive and musical day.
The festival unfolds over a day with a rich and varied program:
The musical program highlights regional and national artists who share their passion for the guitar through energetic and diverse concerts. The duo chloe+clyde, founders of the festival, blends alternative rock and electro-pop in performances that oscillate between vocal fragility and sonic power.
From the afternoon, the festival comes alive with several activity areas:
The Guitare 57 Festival aims to be a meeting point where amateur and professional musicians and music lovers can connect around their common passion. The friendly and family atmosphere of the G. Jansem Center encourages informal discussions between artists and the public, the discovery of new instruments, and the sharing of musical experiences.
The Association Chloé & Clyde, behind the festival, is a dynamic cultural player in the town of Marly. Beyond the festival, it works throughout the year to promote guitar music and culture in Moselle.
Since its creation, the Guitare 57 Festival has experienced growing success. From its confidential first edition to an event recognized in the regional music scene, it reached its 4th edition in 2024 and continues to develop by attracting increasingly diverse exhibitors and artists.
