Festival of visual and sound arts in the Lot
The Kinoramax Festival is a space for festive, intense, and experimental encounters at the crossroads of arts, image, and sound. Organized by the Kinomad association in Anglars-Juillac in the Lot valley, this summer festival offers two days of shows, documentary screenings, film-concerts, performances, creative workshops, exhibitions, and live music outdoors. Open to all, it highlights audiovisual practice as a tool for social connection and sharing, in a friendly atmosphere with catering, a bar, and free camping.
The Kinoramax Festival was born in 2014 on the initiative of the Kinomad association, a collective committed to developing cultural actions and promoting audiovisual practice as a tool for social connection, encounters, and exchange. Located in the Lot and Vignoble valley, in the Lot department of Occitanie, the festival has established itself as a unique summer event blending cinema, music, visual arts, and performances.
Each edition of Kinoramax unfolds a rich and varied program over two intense days:
Kinoramax is distinguished by its friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The festival takes place outdoors in a remarkable natural setting, with covered areas (hall, marquee, large tents) to welcome the public regardless of the weather. The day is dedicated to workshops, screenings, and meetings, while the evenings pulse to the rhythm of concerts, film-concerts, and performances late into the night.
After its first editions starting in 2014, the festival took a break for a few years before being reborn in 2023 for its 4th edition at the Espace culturel Scène d'Anglars in Anglars-Juillac. Since then, Kinoramax has resumed its annual rhythm, with a 5th edition in 2024 in Luzech and a 6th edition in 2025 in Saint-Vincent-Rive-d'Olt, confirming the festival's roots in the Lot cultural landscape.
Based in Luzech (Maison des Consuls), the Kinomad association has been organizing the festival since its origins. Throughout the year, it develops cultural activities around audiovisuals: image education workshops, traveling screenings, artistic residencies, and events such as Kinocourts (short film festival) and Kinosplash (festival warm-up evenings). Kinomad celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2024, demonstrating a lasting commitment to culture in rural areas.
The festival takes place in Anglars-Juillac (46140), in the Lot and Vignoble valley.
