Pop-rock festival at the Familistère de Guise
Born in 2023 from the initiative of the Communauté de communes Thiérache Sambre et Oise (CCTSO), La Ronde des Briques is a pop-rock music festival that takes place every summer on the Place du Familistère de Guise, in the Aisne department. The festival's name refers to the characteristic red bricks of the Familistère Godin, a social palace built in the 19th century by industrialist Jean-Baptiste André Godin to house the workers of his cast-iron stove factory. Classified as a historic monument and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list as a remarkable site, the Familistère offers a unique architectural setting for an open-air festival.
From its very first edition in July 2023, La Ronde des Briques made a strong impact with Kyo, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their cult album « Le Chemin », and Magic System, captivating the audience with their irresistible hits. The second edition in June 2024 confirmed the festival's ambition with Bigflo & Oli and Claudio Capéo as headliners, accompanied by DJs Synapson and the group Nuit Incolore. For the third edition in 2025, the festival welcomes Jérémy Frérot, Vitaa celebrating her 20-year career, and the group Superbus, complemented by Puggy, Maheva, Float, and DJ sets by Vincent Diego.
La Ronde des Briques has experienced remarkable growth in just three editions. The first edition in 2023 gathered over 5,000 spectators over two days, with approximately 3,500 people on Saturday evening and 4,500 on Sunday. In 2024, attendance jumped to over 7,000 participants, confirming the public's enthusiasm for this new summer event. The third edition in 2025 aims to welcome over 6,500 festival-goers in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
True to the spirit of the Familistère, an emblematic place of social utopia, La Ronde des Briques aims to be a festival accessible to all. Prices are kept at a popular level — 25 euros per evening or 40 euros for a two-day pass — and entry is free for children under 10 years old. Each edition spans two evenings, from Friday to Saturday, with opening acts by regional and emerging artists. Free preparatory concerts are also organized before the festival in various towns in Thiérache, strengthening the event's local roots.
The Familistère de Guise, also known as the Social Palace, is a unique architectural complex built between 1859 and 1884 by Jean-Baptiste André Godin. Composed of three residential buildings organized around covered courtyards, an Italian-style theater, schools, gardens, and utility buildings, it represents one of the most successful experiments in collective worker housing in Europe. The large square of the Familistère, lined with red brick facades, transforms for a weekend into an open-air concert stage, offering festival-goers a musical experience in a remarkable heritage setting.
The 4th edition of La Ronde des Briques takes place on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, 2026, on the square of the Familistère de Guise, in Aisne. The program for this popular and family-friendly pop-rock festival includes: Louane, Fatal Bazooka, Skip The Use, Julien Lieb and Yann Muller, as well as DJ sets by Vincent Diego, all within the exceptional heritage setting of the Godin Social Palace.
For its fourth edition, La Ronde des Briques once again takes over the large square of the Familistère de Guise on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, 2026. The pop-rock festival organized by the Communauté de communes Thiérache Sambre et Oise confirms its rise in power with a mainstream lineup mixing rock, pop, electronic music, and festive shows, in a friendly and family atmosphere.
The 2026 headliner is Louane, who will perform on Saturday evening. Comedian and singer Fatal Bazooka (Michaël Youn) will set the Friday night on fire, while the Lille rock band Skip The Use will close Saturday. The program is completed by Julien Lieb, a French-speaking pop revelation, and Yann Muller, as well as DJ sets by Vincent Diego who will animate the weekend.
Highlight of this edition: on Friday, June 26, the festival will offer a giant screen broadcast of the France - Norway match (World Cup) in a fan zone atmosphere in the heart of the Familistère, between the concerts of Yann Muller and Fatal Bazooka.
The festival takes place on the Place du Familistère, 02120 Guise, in the Aisne department, Hauts-de-France region.
