Pop-rock festival at the Familistère de Guise
La Ronde des Briques is a pop-rock music festival organized every summer by the Communauté de communes Thiérache Sambre et Oise on the Place du Familistère de Guise, in the Aisne department. Created in 2023, the festival quickly established itself as the reference music event in Picardy, attracting over 7,000 spectators by its second edition. Set against the exceptional backdrop of the Familistère Godin, a 19th-century social utopia, the festival features headliners from the French music scene and DJ sets in a festive, friendly, and family-oriented atmosphere.
Born in 2023 from the initiative of the Communauté de communes Thiérache Sambre et Oise (CCTSO), La Ronde des Briques is a pop-rock music festival that takes place every summer on the Place du Familistère de Guise, in the Aisne department. The festival's name refers to the characteristic red bricks of the Familistère Godin, a social palace built in the 19th century by industrialist Jean-Baptiste André Godin to house the workers of his cast-iron stove factory. Classified as a historic monument and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list as a remarkable site, the Familistère offers a unique architectural setting for an open-air festival.
From its very first edition in July 2023, La Ronde des Briques made a strong impact with Kyo, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their cult album « Le Chemin », and Magic System, captivating the audience with their irresistible hits. The second edition in June 2024 confirmed the festival's ambition with Bigflo & Oli and Claudio Capéo as headliners, accompanied by DJs Synapson and the group Nuit Incolore. For the third edition in 2025, the festival welcomes Jérémy Frérot, Vitaa celebrating her 20-year career, and the group Superbus, complemented by Puggy, Maheva, Float, and DJ sets by Vincent Diego.
La Ronde des Briques has experienced remarkable growth in just three editions. The first edition in 2023 gathered over 5,000 spectators over two days, with approximately 3,500 people on Saturday evening and 4,500 on Sunday. In 2024, attendance jumped to over 7,000 participants, confirming the public's enthusiasm for this new summer event. The third edition in 2025 aims to welcome over 6,500 festival-goers in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
True to the spirit of the Familistère, an emblematic place of social utopia, La Ronde des Briques aims to be a festival accessible to all. Prices are kept at a popular level — 25 euros per evening or 40 euros for a two-day pass — and entry is free for children under 10 years old. Each edition spans two evenings, from Friday to Saturday, with opening acts by regional and emerging artists. Free preparatory concerts are also organized before the festival in various towns in Thiérache, strengthening the event's local roots.
The Familistère de Guise, also known as the Social Palace, is a unique architectural complex built between 1859 and 1884 by Jean-Baptiste André Godin. Composed of three residential buildings organized around covered courtyards, an Italian-style theater, schools, gardens, and utility buildings, it represents one of the most successful experiments in collective worker housing in Europe. The large square of the Familistère, lined with red brick facades, transforms for a weekend into an open-air concert stage, offering festival-goers a musical experience in a remarkable heritage setting.
Third edition of La Ronde des Briques at the Familistère de Guise on June 27 and 28, 2025. Lineup: Jérémy Frérot and Puggy on Friday, Vitaa and Superbus on Saturday, with Maheva, Float, and DJ sets by Vincent Diego. Over 6,500 festival-goers expected.
The third edition of La Ronde des Briques will take place on June 27 and 28, 2025, at the Place du Familistère de Guise. Following the success of the first two editions, the festival continues its growth with a quality lineup featuring major artists from the French scene.
On Friday, June 27, Jérémy Frérot, discovered as part of the duo Fréro Delavega and now an accomplished solo artist, will headline the first evening. He will be preceded by the Belgian pop-rock band Puggy. The evening will open with Float, a band with alternative rock and indie influences, and a DJ set by Vincent Diego, playing electro, house, and tech house sounds.
On Saturday, June 28, singer Vitaa will celebrate her 20-year career on the main stage of the Familistère. She will be preceded by the group Superbus, fronted by Jennifer Ayache. Singer Maheva, with sunny pop influences blending Toulousian and Malagasy roots, will complete the lineup for this second evening, with another DJ set by Vincent Diego to open.
