La Source Bleue Festival: An Eco-Festival in the Heart of the Lot Valley

Nestled in the enchanting setting of the Domaine de la Source Bleue, on the banks of the Lot in Touzac, the La Source Bleue Festival was born in 2022 from the desire of two artistic companies—TOTEM Récidive, based in the Lot, and L'Inverso Collectif, based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine—to create a space for creation, encounter, and reflection in a rural environment. Companions on their journey for several years, these two structures have joined forces to present a demanding, friendly, and locally rooted festival.

A Multidisciplinary and Committed Program

The La Source Bleue Festival is distinguished by the richness and diversity of its program. Each edition offers a bold mix of theater, dance, circus, music, cinema, performances, and ephemeral forms created specifically for the location. The shows take place in the gardens and natural spaces of the estate, offering spectators an immersive outdoor experience.

Beyond the performances, the festival hosts free conferences, literary encounters, round tables, and workshops open to all audiences, including children. Each edition is built around a strong theme: in 2024, the festival explored the notion of "Feminisms and Rurality," bringing together artists, researchers, and activists around this essential issue.

An Eco-Responsible Commitment

True to its convictions, the La Source Bleue Festival is committed to an ambitious eco-responsible approach. On-site catering favors local and organic products, sourced through partnerships with local producers and artisans. The festival's infrastructure is designed to minimize its environmental impact, and compensation measures are implemented. The festival also offers relaxation areas, a bar, and a catering space where micro-performances punctuate the day, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

A Festival Dedicated to Emerging Creation

The La Source Bleue Festival positions itself as an event dedicated to emerging professional creation. It provides a showcase for emerging artists from various backgrounds, fostering the exchange of skills and experiences. The first edition in 2022 brought together nearly sixty artists with theater, circus, and dance performances, ephemeral forms, concerts, amateur workshops, a literary encounter, and DJ sets.

A Magical Place on the Banks of the Lot

The Domaine de la Source Bleue, a former mill located in Touzac, is an exceptional natural setting for hosting the festival. This historic site, surrounded by greenery and bathed by the waters of the Lot, offers an intimate and poetic atmosphere that fully contributes to the event's identity. Spectators discover a human-scale festival, where proximity to the artists and the beauty of the landscape create a unique experience.

La Source Bleue — edition 2026

The next edition of the La Source Bleue Festival is scheduled for August 8 and 9, 2026, at the Domaine de la Source Bleue in Touzac. The program will be announced soon on the festival's official website.
