Le Grand Baratin is a festival of storytelling and spoken arts that unfolds every autumn in Locunolé and the Pays de Quimperlé, in the south of Finistère. Organized by the association 10QT, this itinerant event has been celebrating the richness of oral tradition since 2019 through storytelling shows, life stories, and narrative performances by professional artists.

An Eclectic Program Between Tradition and Modernity

The Espace des Moulins in Locunolé is the heart of the festival, but shows are also held in other locations in the region: municipal halls, media libraries, cafes, and public spaces. Beyond the shows, the festival offers a caravan-library, a pop-up bookstore, and a friendly catering area. Visitors can also bring their own picnic and enjoy the green setting of Locunolé.
