Every year, the Les Bonnes Bulles festival transforms the town of Saint-Mihiel into the comic strip capital of the Meuse region for a weekend in May. This event, born from an educational project led by the teachers of Collège Les Avrils, has grown beyond the school setting to become a cultural event appreciated by the general public.

A Rich and Varied Program

Signings and Encounters

The heart of the festival lies in the signing sessions that allow the public to meet comic strip authors, illustrators, scriptwriters, and colorists. These privileged moments of exchange offer an opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes of graphic and narrative creation.

Thematic Exhibitions

Each edition features original exhibitions showcasing diverse works and graphic universes. The Galerie Echo d'Art in Saint-Mihiel hosts dedicated exhibitions, such as "La Guerre des Lulus" or "Le Labo de BD," providing an artistic extension to the encounters with authors.

Screenings and Activities

Animated film screenings based on comic strips complete the program. A comic strip creation contest invites young and old to try their hand at drawing, with signed albums to be won. Student creations are also exhibited and signed, highlighting the work done within the school framework.
