Free open-air concerts in the heart of Lezignan-Corbieres all summer long
Les Lezivales were born in 2021 from the desire of the City of Lezignan-Corbieres to liven up the town center during the summer season. Every Thursday evening, from mid-July to mid-August, the Place de la Republique and adjacent streets are transformed into a vast open-air festive space. Concerts begin in the evening and are preceded by a gourmet market where local associations and businesses offer a variety of food from 7 PM. The event is entirely free, open to all, and accessible to families.
The Lezivales program mixes artists of national renown and regional talents, in an eclectic spirit that encompasses French chanson, pop, rock, disco, world music, and variety. In 2024, the festival notably hosted the group Oc, the singer Cali accompanied by Dominique Rieux's Big Band Brass and its 22 musicians, as well as Will Barber, discovered on the show The Voice. In 2025, rapper Black M set the stage on fire for the closing concert on August 15th, in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
Beyond music, Les Lezivales aim to boost the town center of Lezignan-Corbieres during the summer period. Local businesses open their terraces, local associations set up food and drink stands, and families gather in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The event contributes to the tourist appeal of the gateway city to the Corbieres and Minervois regions, attracting visitors and summer residents from across the Aude department.
Since its creation in 2021, the festival has established itself as a must-attend event of the Lezignan summer. The open-air capacity allows for several thousand spectators each evening, and the growing lineup—with national headliners—demonstrates the increasing ambition of this municipal event. Les Lezivales thus confirm the cultural vitality of Lezignan-Corbieres and its ability to bring people together around music and sharing.
The 6th edition of Les Lézivales takes place in summer 2026 in Lézignan-Corbières (Aude). Organized by the City, this summer event offers free and festive open-air evenings for all audiences, at Square Marcelin Albert transformed into an open-air stage, with on-site catering from early evening.
