The organizing association, La Sauce Rural Sound System, now runs another event in Civray-de-Touraine, the Les Pieds dans la Sauce festival.

Les Murs ont des Z'Oreilles was a music festival that took place in Civray-de-Touraine and the surrounding communes of the Val de Cher, in Indre-et-Loire. This festival offered concerts in unusual and heritage sites: barns, troglodytic caves, chapels, gardens, and along the banks of the Cher, creating a rare musical intimacy between artists and the public.

An original concept

The principle of the festival was based on the idea that the walls themselves became an integral part of the musical experience. By choosing places rich in history and with unique acoustics, the organizers offered musicians and the public a setting where music resonated differently. Each concert was a discovery, both musically and in terms of heritage.

Discovery of local heritage

Beyond the music, Les Murs ont des Z'Oreilles invited the public to discover the built and natural heritage of Civray-de-Touraine and the Val de Cher. Concerts took place in locations usually closed to the public or little known. The proximity of the Château de Chenonceau and the banks of the Cher added to the charm of this event.

A local festival

Les Murs ont des Z'Oreilles was a human-scale festival, run by passionate volunteers and rooted in the local associative fabric, around the association La Sauce Rural Sound System. Should a new edition be organized, this page will be updated.
