Les Nuits de Bienassis

A luminous tour in the heart of heritage

The Nuits de Bienassis are an immersive night event that takes place at the Chateau de Bienassis, a historic monument located in Erquy in the Cotes-d'Armor. At nightfall, the estate lights up to offer a walk of about an hour combining monumental mapping on the facades, ramparts, and stables, holograms, light effects, and artistic installations.

Magic lanterns and the Age of Enlightenment

The exhibition of magic lanterns — ancestors of cinema — is one of the highlights of the tour, immersing visitors in the poetic universe of the Age of Enlightenment. Costumed guides accompany the public through the different areas of the estate, while original artistic creations — pannier dresses, a vegetal tunnel, fluorescent water lilies, and imaginary plants — punctuate the route.

Les Nuits de Bienassis are part of the Les Minutes Bleues festival, which offers unique night experiences in the heritage sites of the Cotes-d'Armor. The Chateau de Bienassis, with its 17th-century facades, French gardens, and wooded estate, is an ideal setting for this luminous and poetic creation.
