The wine and gastronomy fair in the setting of the Abbey of Tournus
Every spring, the iconic halls of the Abbey Saint-Philibert of Tournus host Les Œnogourmandes, a fair bringing together over 30 wine and gastronomy producers. In the exceptional setting of the abbey's Refectory and Cellar, curious visitors, gourmands, and wine lovers come to meet winemakers from Mâconnais-Tournugeois and all over France for a weekend of taste discoveries.
Since 2019, Les Œnogourmandes has transformed the historic halls of the Abbaye Saint-Philibert de Tournus into a temple of tasting and indulgence. This spring fair invites wine and good food enthusiasts to discover the wine and gastronomic riches of Southern Burgundy and beyond, in an exceptional architectural setting.
The Monks' Refectory and the Abbey Cellar, vaulted spaces dating back to the 11th century, offer a striking backdrop for wine discovery. The Mâconnais-Tournugeois is naturally in the spotlight with its appellations Viré-Clessé, Mâcon-Villages, Saint-Véran, and other local crus, but the fair also opens its doors to vineyards from all over France, allowing for comparisons and unexpected discoveries.
Each edition brings together around thirty carefully selected producers: independent winemakers, trading houses, cheese artisans, charcutiers, beekeepers, and confectioners. The emphasis is on quality and authenticity, with producers present at their stands to share their passion and explain their working methods. Visitors can taste, compare, and buy directly from the producers.
Beyond the tastings, Les Œnogourmandes is an opportunity to (re)discover Tournus, a town of character on the banks of the Saône. The Romanesque abbey, an architectural jewel of the 10th century, is worth the trip in itself. The town also offers a remarkable gastronomic scene, with the Michelin-starred restaurant Greuze and numerous quality establishments. The fair is thus part of a complete wine tourism getaway in the heart of Southern Burgundy.
The 8th edition of Les Œnogourmandes will be held on March 21st and 22nd, 2026, at the Abbey Saint-Philibert of Tournus. Wine tastings, meetings with producers, and gastronomic discoveries are on the program.
Les Œnogourmandes return for their 8th edition on March 21st and 22nd, 2026, in the Refectory and Cellar of the Abbey Saint-Philibert of Tournus. Over 30 wine and gastronomy producers await you for a weekend of taste discoveries in an exceptional heritage setting.
