Thematic literary festival in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer
Created in 2015, Les Palabreurs is a literary festival organized every spring by the library of Saint-Palais-sur-Mer. Each edition explores a different theme in literature through conferences, film screenings, theatrical performances, and youth activities, creating an unmissable event for book lovers and the curious.
Since 2015, Les Palabreurs has become an essential meeting place for book lovers and curious minds. Organized by the municipal library of Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, this literary festival offers an original exploration of an aspect of literature every year in late April-early May.
The festival highlights a different facet of literature through conferences, film screenings, theatrical performances, and activities. Past editions have explored animals in literature, villains, and time in literature, each time offering a cross-cutting and accessible approach.
Les Palabreurs is for all audiences with a youth program including stories of wolves, witches, and monsters, followed by adapted cinema screenings. Adults benefit from in-depth conferences and screenings of cult films. The festival takes place at Salle Michel Legrand and access is open to all.
