Summer theatrical performances at the Grottes du Régulus in Meschers-sur-Gironde
Les Passagers du Régulus is an amateur theatre troupe based in Meschers-sur-Gironde that brings the town's history to life through live performances. The company takes its name from the famous Grottes du Régulus, an emblematic site in Meschers carved into the limestone cliff, where it performs its creations. Beyond the summer Nocturnes, the troupe is also known for its shows "Meschers Polar I & II".
Every Tuesday evening during July and August, the troupe presents Les Nocturnes at the Grottes du Régulus. The audience meets Meschers' most famous troglodytes, in the flesh: a show that makes you laugh, dance, and sing, punctuated by many surprises. Performances take place from 9 PM within the caves, on the banks of the Gironde.
As places are limited, booking is recommended with the Grottes du Régulus. Les Nocturnes are paid shows, accessible to adults and children aged 6 and over.
