Les Soirées d'Été de Gordes (Gordes Festival) are an unmissable summer event in the Luberon: every August, the Théâtre des Terrasses, an open-air tiered seating area built into the rock in the heart of the village, hosts a series of concerts and shows facing the panoramic view of the plain and the Luberon. Created in 1984, the festival offers an eclectic program combining French chanson, jazz, world music, comedy, and variety, in one of France's Most Beautiful Villages.

Created in 1984, Les Soirées d'Été de Gordes — commonly known as the Gordes Festival — are among the most popular summer events in the Vaucluse. Every year at the beginning of August, the festival offers a handful of evenings of concerts and shows in an exceptional setting, at the foot of the hilltop village classified among France's Most Beautiful Villages.
The Théâtre des Terrasses, an open-air setting
Performances take place at the Théâtre des Terrasses, an open-air theatre built into the hillside with tiered seating, in the heart of the village. Its 495 numbered seats arranged in an amphitheatre offer a panoramic view of the plain and the Luberon mountain. As night falls, the open-air stage and the village lights create a unique backdrop for live music.
An eclectic program
Since its creation, the festival has built its reputation on a varied and demanding program: French chanson, jazz, Latin and world music, comedy, electro-soul. National and international headliners succeed each other on the Gordes stage for a few evenings, bringing artistic quality into dialogue with the beauty of the location.
A friendly atmosphere
Each performance evening, a refreshment stand and light catering are offered on site before the start of the show, in a friendly atmosphere typical of Provençal summer evenings. The festival is run by the Association des Soirées d'Été de Gordes.

The 2026 edition of the Gordes Festival (Gordes Summer Evenings) takes place from August 3 to 10, 2026 at the Théâtre des Terrasses, in the heart of the village. Five evenings of open-air concerts and shows feature an eclectic lineup: Yaël Naim, Philippe Caverivière, Yuri Buenaventura, Fred Nardin & Anne Sila, and Electro Deluxe.
Gordes Festival 2026 — five evenings at the Théâtre des Terrasses
From August 3 to 10, 2026, the Gordes Summer Evenings return to the Théâtre des Terrasses for a new edition blending song, humor, jazz, Latin music, and electro-soul. Shows begin at 9:30 PM, in the setting of the open-air tiered theater offering a panoramic view of the Luberon. Refreshments and light snacks available on site from 8 PM, ticket office opens at 8:30 PM.
A varied lineup
The 2026 program alternates genres and atmospheres: the luminous songs of Yaël Naim, the humor of Philippe Caverivière, the salsa and Latin sounds of Yuri Buenaventura, the jazz of Fred Nardin accompanied by Anne Sila, and the electronic soul of Electro Deluxe to close the festival.

Location
Concerts take place at the Théâtre des Terrasses, Rue du Belvédère, 84220 Gordes — an open-air tiered theatre (495 numbered seats) in the heart of the village.
Access
By car: Gordes is located approximately 40 km from Avignon (D973 then D2), 25 km from Apt, and 45 km from Aix-en-Provence. Access roads are narrow and busy during the season; it is advisable to arrive early and use the village car parks. The centre is largely pedestrianised.

Ticket office and refreshment stand open at 8:30 PM, shows start from 9:30 PM. Refreshment stand and light catering available on site from 8:00 PM.
