About Les Théâtrales
Les Théâtrales de Cabourg is a solidarity theater festival created in 2022, organized for the benefit of the association Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE), which supports the education of over 6,000 children in Cambodia. For three days, the festival hosts four shows – major Parisian hits and selections from the Avignon Off Festival – performed free of charge by professional artists. Entirely organized by volunteers, this event has already funded thousands of training days.

A solidarity theater festival
Created in 2022 by Béatrice and Sébastien Biessy in partnership with the town of Cabourg, Les Théâtrales de Cabourg is a unique theater festival: each show presented is performed free of charge by the artists, who agree to perform voluntarily for the benefit of the association Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE). Founded in 1996 by Christian and Marie-France des Pallières, PSE supports the education of over 6,000 disadvantaged children in Cambodia.
The best of French theater
Each year, the festival programs four shows carefully selected from major Parisian hits and selections from the Avignon Off Festival, acclaimed by critics and recognized by professionals. The performances take place at La Sall'In, the performance hall of the Grand Hôtel de Cabourg, offering an intimate and elegant setting.
100% volunteer commitment
Les Théâtrales is entirely organized by volunteers. Artists are hosted by local residents and fed by Cabourg merchants, to maximize the funds raised. From its first edition in 2022, the festival welcomed over 600 spectators and funded 5,200 professional training days for the children supported by PSE. The festival has since continued to break attendance and fundraising records.

The 5th edition of Les Théâtrales de Cabourg will be held from May 7 to 9, 2026, at La Sall'In of the Grand Hôtel, with four shows in the program: Les Fourberies de Scapin, Et si c'était elle ?, La Danse du caméléon, and Marius by Pagnol.
5th edition of Les Théâtrales de Cabourg 2026
The 5th edition of Les Théâtrales de Cabourg will be held from May 7 to 9, 2026 at La Sall'In of the Grand Hôtel de Cabourg. The program promises four quality shows:
- Thursday, May 7 at 8:30 PM: Les Fourberies de Scapin
- Friday, May 8 at 8:30 PM: Et si c'était elle ?
- Saturday, May 9 at 4:00 PM: La Danse du caméléon
- Saturday, May 9 at 8:30 PM: Marius by Pagnol
Proceeds will be entirely donated to the association Pour un Sourire d'Enfant. Bookings on cabourg.fr, Billet Réduc, or at the Cabourg Tourist Office.
