Festival discontinued. Lives au Pont was a contemporary music festival (pop, soul, hip-hop, electro) held in summer at the foot of the Pont du Gard, in Vers-Pont-du-Gard (Gard). Its last documented edition took place on July 7 and 8, 2016. No edition seems to have been organized since. This entry is kept for archival purposes.
A festival at the foot of the Pont du Gard (2012-2016)
Lives au Pont gathered up to approximately 25,000 spectators over two evenings of concerts at the foot of the Pont du Gard, a Roman monument inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage list. The program mixed French and international artists from the pop, hip-hop, and electro scenes, with concerts by the water facing the aqueduct.
The festival had six summer editions, from 2012 to 2016, scheduled in July. Its last documented edition was held on July 7 and 8, 2016.
No edition has been organized since 2016: the official agenda of the Pont du Gard site no longer mentions this festival, and public sources (Infoconcert, Songkick, local press) confirm the absence of recent editions. Lives au Pont therefore appears to be a discontinued festival. This entry is kept for reference.
