About Massabrac Music Festival
Each year around June 21st, the commune of Massabrac, in Haute-Garonne, celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) during a festive and free evening at the Halle de Massabrac. A friendly program brings together a choir, young singers, a pop-rock band, and a DJ to make the village vibrate.
Massabrac Music Festival — edition 2026
The very first edition of the Fols Journées de Ballon-Saint-Mars takes place from July 10 to 12, 2026, at the foot of the 11th-century Romanesque keep. This free medieval festival brings together buhurt fights, a falconry show, a re-enactment camp, an artisan market, medieval music and songs, a fire-eater, and a banquet by reservation.

For its first act, the festival offers a free family medieval program (the medieval banquet being the only paid element, by reservation):
- Buhurt fights — armored confrontations in the tradition of medieval martial arts, with a tournament of fighters.
- Falconry show — flight demonstration at the foot of the 11th-century keep.
- Medieval camp — re-enactment of daily life in the Middle Ages.
- Medieval market — artisans and period stalls.
- Medieval music and songs — concerts and itinerant entertainment.
- Fire-eater and fire show.
- Animated medieval banquet — by reservation (only paid service).
- Children and family area.

Organized by the association Le Chant de l'Être, under the direction of Aurélie Bilas, the Fête de la Musique de Massabrac honors local talents and artists from the region. The evening opens with the voices of the choir and students led by Aurélie Bilas, before giving way to more rhythmic concerts and a dancing atmosphere that continues late into the night.
Free and open to all, this evening aims to be a moment of sharing and conviviality in the heart of the village, where residents and visitors simply come together to celebrate music.
